There are several different technologies that are used in remote control light switches. Some use radio frequency (RF), while others use IR or Bluetooth. Despite the wide range of these technologies, there are still many questions about how they work and how to use them effectively.   • Wi-Fi

A Wi-Fi remote control light switch lets you turn your home appliances on and off. It does not interrupt the power line going to the light fixture.
